I had such a great time with Jayni and Michael! From their super special (and gorgeous) engagement session on the very bridge where Michael proposed, to their wonderful wedding day. It's hard to miss how photogenic these two are, but what I really loved about working with them was how much they admire and respect each other. It's so apparent to anyone who spends more than 10 minutes with these two just how much they love each other! Their day was absolutely beautiful and filled with really adorable moments that I was honored to capture. They chose The Inn at Leola Village to have their wedding and the folks there just made everything so easy! With everything you can image onsite, I only had to park my car at one location (which is just fabulous). I started the day at their salon with the girls, while my husband (and amazing second shooter) went to the billiards room to hang with the guys.Jayni didn't have her robe with her when she went up to the bridal suite to get ready, so she threw her great-grandmother's fur coat on while she helped her mother into her dress. It was the cutest thing ever. She reminded me a little girl playing dress up.Everyone was doing so well, schedule wise, I thought we should have a little fun. I was able to grab this shot before she got into her dress. :)
Jayni and Michael decided to do a "first reveal". This meant that rather than waiting to see each other for the first time during the ceremony, they chose to have a first reveal beforehand so that they could have more time for portraits. It bucks tradition, but allows for a much less stressful day since you aren't trying to cram as many pictures in during the hour between the ceremony and recpetion. And it still is such a special moment...just a much more private moment. The giant barn doors at The Inn at Leola made for the perfect spot. Love those doors! We were also able to get the bridal party portraits done in advance! Then it was time for the ceremony. And a lovely ceremony it was! There was laughter, tears, and one of the best ring handoffs I've ever seen! They simply outdid themselves with the reception! The staff there turned that room around very quickly. The details were fabulous and the table settings were just so elegant. They had a wonderful band and some pretty great dancing (including a pretty impressive father/daughter choreographed dance). Check out some highlights from their beautiful reception.Jayni and Michael, I had such a great time with you and your families! Thank you so much for including me in your most special day. I wish you the best of luck in your lives together. Many blessings!

Christina - So.many.beautiful.shots - the bride is completely photogenic! I feel as if I was at the wedding, too.
