I'm so excited to show you Shannon and Vic's fabulous engagement session. When I was first learning about who they are as a couple, I learned that they love being at home. They told me that some of their favorite times together were sipping drinks on their front porch, and being a part of the happenings in their neighborhood. From the first time they held hands, to the proposal, it all seemed to happen right there. So naturally, it's where I wanted to capture their engagement session. I always ask my couples what they like to do together, and the places they love to be so that the pictures just become more important to them and are truly cherished. When people are more comfortable in a place they know well, it sort of becomes a third character in the engagement photos. So here are a few images from Shannon and Vic's neighborhood engagement session. The location of the first time they held hands is right across the street from their home. Naturally, I had to recreate that moment. :)Cutest front porch ever.Vic asked Shannon on a post it note if she would go out with him. He did the same thing when he asked her to marry him. Adorable, right?! Here's the note!Pets rarely make for great subjects. At least in my experience. So getting the shot is half the fun...I am so excited to be shooting their wedding next fall! Not only is this a fabulous couple, but they've chosen Rehoboth Beach to be married, a place near and dear to my own heart. :)
